The Wembley tennis experience includes USTA teams, Interclub, daily drills, cardio tennis, lessons, and casual games, as well as a wide range of social events. We have some of the best instructors in Cleveland, offering lessons and clinics to fit both your skill level and your schedule. No matter your level of play, there are games and programs suited to everyone. We have dozens of players new to tennis, so if you are just beginning, Wembley is a great place to learn the game and have fun.

Rich Mostardi: Director of Tennis at Wembley
Director of Tennis, Rich Mostardi, is renowned for his unique accomplishments as a coach, including 11 former students who became state champions, one ranked in the Top 30 on the professional tour, and thousands of happy students of all ages who improved while enjoying their experience. Rich is known for extremely high energy, perceptive instruction, and constant communication during his lessons. Students drive from neighboring states, such as Pennsylvania and Michigan, to seek out Rich’s expertise. Wembley is extremely proud to have Rich Mostardi as the leader of our tennis program.

Matt Howard: Head Tennis Pro
Matt Howard is a certified USPTA Elite Professional with 28 years of teaching experience. After playing collegiate tennis for the University of Akron (with Rich Mostardi as a teammate), Matt has coached many junior players that went on to play successful college tennis at such schools as Ohio State and Notre Dame. Matt has helped many adult USTA league teams to win multiple State and Midwest championships, including the 2017 summer season which saw multiple Adult USTA teams from the Wembley Club qualifying for district level playoff matches. Most notably, a team of Matt's 2.5 students have advanced to play in the 2017 2.5 Women's USTA National Championships this Fall.
Theo is one of Ohio’s brightest young stars in tennis coaching. After being recruited by the University of Northwestern Ohio, he led his team to two Wolverine-Hoosier Conference Championships, and became the most successful player in the history of the program, by being named first team All-American 2017. Theo had been one of the top ranked juniors in his country, France, prior to his collegiate career, and competed extensively international tournaments around Europe. As he is joining our high quality professionals’ squad, Theo aspires to quickly become one of the top coaches in the USTA Midwest Section, develop numerous nationally ranked players, and shares his passion as much as he can through his exceptional knowledge of the game, boundless energy, and positive attitude.
Carmela is a seasoned tennis player on the junior circuit.
